Walk
Doing this walk made me think of the nature walks that I had gone on back in middle school. Every year for science we had gone on two nature walks, one during the fall and one during the spring. We would go on these walks to look at how nature changes during these seasons. Looking at the color of plants, which animals are out, and the climate changes. I have always felt so much peace by looking at nature develope from stage to stage. In the fall everything is so peaceful and quiet and then in the spring you can hear the birds and sounds of nature waking back up from a cold, snowfilled winter. When I went on the walk today I just looked around at the bare trees with their leaves all over the ground and the animals gathering the last bit of food before winter comes. When you stop and look at the world from a nature perspective you can really see how peaceful it is.
What I want to learn about
One thing that I have always wanted to learn about is cars. Not learning how to drive because I already know how but more indepth in how the car operates. I want to be able to work on a car and make it look and run the way I want it to. From doing simple repairs to making my car look the best on the street, I want to learn how to do it all. By doing this I could also cut down on all of those little car costs of having to take it to the repair shop. Labor costs are the most ridiculous costs that I have ever seen. I think my learning how to fix up cars would also be a great stress reliever and would always give me something to work on when im bored or have nothing else to do. I have always been a big fan of street racing movie such and the Fast and the Furious movies. The different sounds of engines roaring excites me. Then there are the little things that I think are important to know about a car like how the car runs or if it's making a certain noise how to know what is the problem with the car. So the one thing I would like to know more about are cars.

My Older Brother
My older brother is a figure in my life that is just never boring. He suffers from ADHD so he is on the go all the time. He is always chasing after me or one of my siblings to fart on or to wrestle with. He can't seem to ever control how loud he is talking. During video games my dad usually has to quiet him down about every 2 minutes or so. He is such a character to meet and has a great sense of humor. A good thing that has came out of this is that he has built a nice work resume. He is so good with people because he been jumping around to so many things that he has a general knowledge that he can just relate to almost everyone. He can't stay in one job or one apartment to the point where I think he has had more jobs and has moved more times that both my Mother and Father. He will do the most outraguoes things to make people laugh one in particular is the many different voices he can make. He is a guy that will keep a person up at night a wake them up early in the morning for the most random things. Through all of this I love my brother for who he is and I always will. My brother is the biggest one in our family towering over the rest of us. Over the past years has has gained his 20's weight and now is just this big man. One day that I rememeber specifically of him is that he was farting and he wanted the whole family to hear so he came into the living room where we all were. standing behind my mom he says " Guys listen to this one". He went on to push as hard as he could and air wasn't the only thing to come out. Luckily we had hard wood floors and I can still hear the thuds of him running to the bathroom after saying "Oh, Shit". He had came back with a wipe and towel to clean up the mess. Anotther lucky moment is that he came in before my Mother found out what had happened.

Stress Reliever
When things just are not going my way I usually just start to play video games. Video games get my mind off of whatever else is going on in the world. I tend to get lost in them and even lose the sense of time. What feels like a half hour of playing is actually 2 hours. The two main games that I play is Madden which is the nfl sponsored game and then Call of Duty which is based off of World War 2. I play these games online so I go against people from all over the world. These games just take off stress because I am very competitive which causes me to only focus on the game. Another reason is because I can talk smack to the video games without it saying anything back which allows me to get my anger out. The location of my video games counsil is in my room which makes it so no one will bother me while im playing. By it being in my room it helps me zone everything out and stay in my own world until I finally feel ready to come back out.

School Violence Plan Focuses On Potential Victims
The new cheif officer of pulic schools in chicago, Ron Huberan, has generated a new plan to provide safety and prevent killings within the school community. His plan consists of analysis of statistics and probability of the students in the school districts. If his plan goes the way he wants it to about 10,000 students with the highest risk lives will be better off. The plan is to give them a job to fill up time and to also provide them with an adult in the community that they can consult with that is on call 24 hours a day. It is financed by a two year stimulus plan from the government and will cost about $60 million. The studdies consisted of shootings, gangfights, and inschool activity. The results were that most of the fighting and shooting happened in a two hour window from the begining and end of school. They also plan to keep track of where gangs are located throughout the day. This plan came with controversy that parents generated because it only affects 10,000 students out of 85,000. The school district will be spending about $30 million a year on just these 10,000 students.
Homeless find hope in working on tv show
Ron Kenebrew is a former inmate that moved from Arizona to Minnesota. Once here he wonded up being homeless and wanted to make a change to that. He joined a local tv show network that is produced and presented by people who have been homeless and know exactly what it's like. This program is headed by Luis Alverenga, a former tv show and radio reporter in El Salvador. He created the show "Voices for Change" that accomplishes two things, giving a voice to the homeless and giving them hands-on training. Homeless men and women are able to take classes through the station to gain marketable skills. Kenebrew is a prime example of how this station works by his accomplishments in shooting vidoes for highschools and getting paid for it. Ted Dennis, the chairmen of the station, feels he most important thing to the station is that it is changing the way homelessness is viewed. Kenebrew feels that this station has opened the door to many opportunites for ethe homeless community as it did for him.
Can't Live Without
The one thing that I can't live without is my cell phone. Not in the sense of just having one but I need it on me pretty much at all times. It is so funny because I start to panic when it breaks or if I know I will be without it for at least a day. To me my cell phone seems to be the source of all my communication. This is in fact not true but I usually believe it to be that way. It is crazy for me to think that there was a point in time where in fact I did not have a cell pohone. I don't come to realize how I got around to making plans or talking with friends. The biggest reason isn't so much talking on the phone and making calls, but it is texting. I tend to use about 6000 texts a month. I don't know how else I would talk with friends if I wasn't able to communicate through texting. My phone is important to me now in the fact that I seem to depend on it. I use to for time, calender, communication, calculator. With the more upgraded cell phones that I get The more applications there are to use, the more the applications the more I start to depend on my phone. My phone is absolutly the item I could not live without.
