Social Networking
Oh boy where do I start? Text messaging, Facebook, Myspace have all greatly changed the way that I communicate with others in this world. When I was younger it was always calling someone from my housephone if i wanted or needed to talk. Then there was the middle school days of passing notes across the room to friends. When text messaging was introduced I had a sudden change of communication. My family had gotten it when it first came out. the funny thing then was that no one else had it so it was kinda pointless at the time. Now four years later it is one of my main sources of communicating with friends from wanting to hang out or even just to have a conversation. My last year of middle school I was introduced to Myspace. This was the new craze at the time and everyone was using it. It was like a routine website to be on right after school and at night before one goes to bed. It was a easy way to talk to multiple people all at the same time. It sort of revolutionized they way people made plans to get together. It also was another thing to do when you are bored while being at home. Soon enough I had heard about Facebook and made the transfer over to that site. This site was way more advanced than Myspace in the sense that you can chat instead of only having to make wall posts. I think it makes it easier to connected with friends after school because you still have that connection with them.
